To be honest I never expected the popularity of this site to climb so drastically in the past few weeks. When I started it back in January, it was because I was excited about the Pre and noticed there were not many sites covering news on the device.
That said for the past few weeks we’ve been mulling expanding the niche of the site, but before we do we’d like to hear from you the readers. We would still cover news related to Palm, Pre, Pixi, Treo Pro etc. but we would cover other stuff like new cell phones, gadgets, reviews, software etc.
So please let us know in the poll below (as well as the comments). Based on poll and comment response we’ll make a decision by weekend.
At any rate we’re we’re working on a new template for the site which will be completed by weekend. So please forgive us if you experience a few technical difficulties this week.
The reason i’m asking this question is because for the past two months I have been noticing unreliable 3G coverage on my Pre. I’m positive its not Sprint’s fault because I have friends and family who have Sprint and they pick up excellent reception where I am only zeroing at one or two bars.
So I’d just like to tke a quick poll and see if I’m the only one having these problems, so please vote in the poll below. At any rate I will be checking out a Sprint store next week to get this resolved.
We’re not expecting a word out of Sprint or Palm on this issue except for some PR bullsh*t talking about how demands are high. So I guess we’ll never know exactly. But after hearing a few stories from around the blog world and a few disgruntled Pre owners who carried their devices back within a month of getting them, We’d just like to know if you or anyone has carried back your Pre (albeit you purchased one). So do us a favor and vote below so we can get an idea.
Its kind of ironic that the app store has only 31 apps and yet two are dedicated to the same feature. Yes I am talking about the infamous Twitter. I’ll be honest with you, Twitter is something I am just getting used to, but thanks to Tweed and Spaz, I’m getting more used to the idea. Having three Twitter accounts to date its kinda hard to update them all, so one of the good features in Tweed is the ability switch accounts with only three gestures.
That said their is a third Twitter app that is currently in beta named Twee. Check out the demo in the video below and then take our poll.
We’ve been hearing isolated complaints about the Palm Pre battery life being next to horrible. We’re not sure if its a problem with the actual battery or if its actually the phone killing the juice in there. Either way there seems to be a problem so please vote in the poll below. Thanks!
