Palm Pre for 79.99 at Wal-Mart
Well get right to the point. If you haven’t already bought a Pre or you’re thinking about getting one for a friend/loved one, then read on for some awesome discounts.
Amazon.com has the Pre for $99 on new two year contract for U.S customers.
Future Shop has the Pre for $149 on a new three year contract for Bell Mobile customers in Canada (in store only). They are also offering $75 worth of accessories to sweeten the deal.
We’re also hearing that those who want to buy their Pre in the U.S through Sprint should mention that Best Buy and Amazon have the device for under $100. The possibility of having them (Sprint) match the price is very likely, so go ahead.
If you are one of those (like us) who is experiencing horrendous battery life, then you might want to think of picking up a Touchstone charger. These things are very efficient and can charge your Pre for up to three times once they (the Touchstone charger) has been juiced to its max.
This means you dont have to worry about carrying that bothersome USB cord around to charge the blasted thing. The accessory is not the cheaperst, but it can be bought at the likes of Best Buy, Sprint Store and other outlets for $70 (that is for the charger and the specialized magnetic back which is required for the charger to work).

OFFICIAL: Palm Pre coming June 6th on the "NOW NETWORK"
And now, the day you all have been waiting for. Sprint has officially announced the price as well as the release date of the Pre. And its right in line with NYT’s prediction (and ours).
According to an official press release from Sprint (as well as banners all over their site), the Pre will be coming to a Sprint (and Sprint online), Radio Shack, Best Buy and select Wal-Mart stores. As predicted, the price will be directly in line with that of the iPhone at just $199.99 (after $100 mail-in rebate) on a two year contract with a Sprint Everything Data or Business Essentials with Messaging and Data plan. Accessories will include a $69.99 Touchstone charger which includes the $49.99 dock and $19.99 Pre back cover.
BTW this is just two days before Apple’s big announcement at WWDC so we’re eager to see how things heat up. In any case we’re glad we know we have enough money for our next gadget. What about you?
Touchstone Charger Price
The news just keeps coming out today. This latest bit of info involves the much hyped Palm Touchstone charger. According to a computer screen image leak deep inside one of Sprint’s executive chargers, the charger will be selling for a wallet gouging $69.99.
We are not gonna tell you that this is 100% confirmed but seeing how Engadget generally gets pretty accurate info, we would say its about time you start saving up those pennies from Taco Bell.
TouchStone Charger
If we’re supposed to believe new details from our friends over at PreThinking, Palm is developing a product line out of the Palm Touchstone charger.
Just in case you’re not sure, this device is that cool charger that allows you to charge your Palm Pre without using any wires at all. As you’re probably aware, the device will be sold seperatly from the phone itself.
The only other features it might hold is the ability to send and receive data with inductive coupling technology via the Touchstone back cover.
We’re not sure exactly what to think from this but we could be onto something here. Get a cool video of the TouchStone browser after the break.
AGF Holster
While we are waiting for the launch of the Palm Pre, we thought it would be nice to give some information on some of the accessories that you will have the option of purchasing.
