We need to clear something up. Even though iTunes 9 has broken the special syncing rights that Palm had with their Pre, you can still sync the Pre with iTunes. That said, yesterday Jobs (back in all his glory) unveiled the latest version of the #1 music store worldwide. To be expected this brought an end to the Pre tricking iTunes into thinking it was an iPod.
That said, if you’re interested in keeping those syncing rights for now (until Palm inevitably breaks them), do not upgrade to iTunes 9. Good day to you.
