While the webOS update 1.0.4 did fix some vulnerabilities, it did lock up the loop hole that allowed dedicated Pre fans to install homebrew apps without rooting their Pre. Well the hack is back and you can thank the Pre gods that you won’t need to learn all that nasty coding that some of us actually have to do.
