Palm Pre syncs with iTunes

Palm Pre syncs with iTunes

This shouldn’t be big news since Palm already told us back in January that the Pre would carry syncing features with the #1 digital music source iTunes.

But in case you needed hard core evidence, we have it here. First outed by Fortune yesterday and then Palm (in a demo), the Pre syncs “seamlessly” with iTunes. Better yet, iTunes caters to the Pre just as it would an iPhone or iPod (sans the DRM music).

We’re not so sure how Apple is going to take this latest turn of events because if there is one thing that has been holding back the iPhone, its the exclusive contract with AT&T. On the other hand the Pre as well as other webOS phones will be coming to other major U.S and worldwide carriers so stay tuned as we check on how this all plays out and whether or not Apple will cry foul.
