Palm Pre at Best Buy
You might have heard the rumor going around that there will be a limit of 6 Palm Pre’s per Best Buy store. Of course that has gotten a bunch of people edgy as this would mean that you would have to spend days in line if you wanted to be among the first 6 to grab the hotly anticipated device.
Well just this evening I was talking to a Best Buy rep about the different phones and the Palm Pre came up. What was quite funny is people (according to him) have been coming in the store since January asking if they can purchase one (if only they read Palm Arena they would know). So of course I failed not to ask him about the 6 Pre’s per store rumor.
According to him, while Sprint has not given the representatives an official number yet, he said he can assure me (and others) that there will be more then 6 Pre’s per store. And thinking back on the rumor, it would be dumb of Sprint and Palm to sabotage one of their biggest outlets like that. So we’ll wait and see. Till then sit tight and keep checking back here for more updates.
