Thanks to the endless Twittering done by companies these days, it opens up the doors for a lot of inside info. This just in, Pre has just confirmed VIA their official Twitter account that although the Pre will have “integrated messaging in lots of useful ways,” the Pre will not have Visual Voicemail.

Fear not though as that is not a requirement. My Blackberry Curve has Visual Voicemail via a third party app and since Palm is not being as closed off on what developers can get into their app store (unlike *cough* Sprint), we do expect to see something like that popping up in the app store a few weeks or months after launch.
