Palm Pre may be Best Buy exclusive...

You probably remember that when Sprint announced the vailability of the Palm Pre on June 6th yesterday, they made it clear that while the Palm Pre will be for $199.99 on contract, you will have to pay $299.99 up front and then send in for the $100 mail-in rebate.

That said, Best Buy mobile (one of the soon-to-be retailers of the Palm Pre) will have said device for $199.99 sans the mail-in rebate. So if that $299.99 was looking pretty steep for you then you know where to go. Just be warned though that we’re expecting them to sell out pretty fast though.
