OFFICIAL: Palm Pre coming June 6th on the "NOW NETWORK"

And now, the day you all have been waiting for. Sprint has officially announced the price as well as the release date of the Pre. And its right in line with NYT’s prediction (and ours).

According to an official press release from Sprint (as well as banners all over their site), the Pre will be coming to a Sprint (and Sprint online), Radio Shack, Best Buy and select Wal-Mart stores. As predicted, the price will be directly in line with that of the iPhone at just $199.99 (after $100 mail-in rebate) on a two year contract with a Sprint Everything Data or Business Essentials with Messaging and Data plan. Accessories will include a $69.99 Touchstone charger which includes the $49.99 dock and $19.99 Pre back cover.

BTW this is just two days before Apple’s big announcement at WWDC so we’re eager to see how things heat up. In any case we’re glad we know we have enough money for our next gadget. What about you?
